ITS 2012 Barcelona | Social Programme
The ITS Conventions always strive to achieve the perfect
balance between business and pleasure, and ITS Barcelona is no exception, with a glittering array of
social events built into the programme.
On the evening of Monday 28th
May there is the Damen-sponsored Welcome Cocktail Party welcoming delegates and
exhibitors to the event. Click Here for more information.
While on Tuesday there will be a Happy Hour in the exhibition, sponsored by Armon Shipyards. There will also be a number of private receptions during the programme, details to follow. On Thursday 31st May the Gala Dinner and Cabaret, sponsored by Caterpillar, will take place in the Ballroom of the CCIB. On Friday, delegates can go on a harbour tour sponsored by The Shipowners' Protection, and on that evening Remolcadores de Barcelona and SAR Remolcadores will be hosting the ITS 2012 farewell party.

Spouses/partners are invited to the Welcome Cocktail Party sponsored by Damen on Monday 28th May; the Harbour Tour sponsored by The Shipowners' Protection Ltd and the Farewell Party on 1st June. Spouses wanting to attend the spectacular Gala Dinner and Cabaret, sponsored by Caterpillar on Thursday 31st May must purchase a ticket. These are priced at €150 and include a drinks reception, four-course dinner with wines and cabaret. Please email val@tugandosv.com to purchase additional tickets.
Gala Dinner evening entertainment, with a Las Ramblas theme reception; complimentary drinks while being entertained by musicians, magicians, caricaturists, human statues and street performers. Followed by a superb four course dinner with wines, Flamenco Show, followed by presentations of Awards, Marbella Big Band and dancing to finish.
Dress code for the conference and exhibition is business or business casual and the same applies to the social and networking events. Gala Dinner dress code is jacket and tie, but NOT tuxedo/smoking/dinner jacket. For the ladies formal evening ware (cocktail or similar)
