NEW Date Announced

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, ITS has been postponed to June 2021.

We are delighted to be returning to Singapore for the 26th International Tug, Salvage & OSV Convention and Exhibition (ITS) from 7 - 11 June 2021 This will be the third time the hugely successful industry-leading and much anticipated event will have been held in the Lion City.

ITS is a much-anticipated conference and exhibition, firmly established as a must-attend event in the industry’s calendar. It attracts top level executives and decision makers from across the globe, providing a unique opportunity once every two years to meet, learn and do business – a lot of business. To this end, we go to great lengths to ensure that delegates and exhibitors have every available opportunity to network and forge new ties. Coffee and tea breaks take place within the exhibition area, and exhibitors can take lunch with the delegates, providing ample opportunity for discussion.

ITS 2021 Singapore will celebrate the innovation, invention and forward-thinking that is driving our industry, along with the traditional values that continue to enrich and sustain it. This ITS convention promises to be more relevant and engaging than ever, merging compelling papers with business opportunities and exciting social events, all in a location which continues to play a powerful role in the maritime sector.

The venue

ITS 2021 Singapore will take place at the award-winning Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, only 20 minutes from Changi international airport and conveniently located in the central business district just minutes from the city’s entertainment and cultural attractions. Suntec Singapore is easily accessible by three MRT stations - Esplanade or Promenade via the Circle Line, and City Hall via the East West Line.

The exhibition

Since it began, the exhibition has grown enormously, with an anticipated 100+ exhibitors expected in Singapore. Those exhibitors who wish to register for the conference are offered a substantial discount on the registration fee (only one discounted registration per stand and no other discounts are applicable to this fee). In addition, the usual Early Bird, ITS Club and multiple delegate registration discounts are available for additional registrations. Stands vary in size and price, but each includes a hard-wall shell scheme, carpeting, an electrical socket, lighting, furniture (table and chairs), a name sign, a set of lunch, tea and coffee vouchers, one Gala Dinner ticket (or two for larger stands) and invitations to the various social networking events which will take place throughout the week.

The location

Founded by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1819 as a trading post of the British East India Company, Singapore’s territory consists of one main island along with 62 other islets. Despite lacking natural resources and a hinterland, since independence it has developed rapidly as an Asian Tiger economy, based on external trade.

Today the Port of Singapore is the world’s second-busiest in terms of total shipping tonnage, it also transships a fifth of the world’s shipping containers, half of the world’s annual supply of crude oil, and is the world’s busiest transshipment port. Among other accolades, Singapore is recognised as the world’s most ‘technology-ready’ nation; the top international-meetings city; the world’s smartest city and the world’s safest country.

A multi-cultural melting pot, the city-state is home to 5.6 million residents and has four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin Chinese and Tamil; most Singaporeans are bilingual and English serves as the nation’s lingua franca, while Malay is the national language. Its cultural diversity is reflected in its extensive ethnic cuisine. Besides internationally acclaimed establishments, the city’s diverse culinary landscape is best exemplified in its local hawker culture. To sample true-blue hawker eats, drop by Chinatown Complex Food Centre, a sprawling hawker centre that houses over 260 food stalls.
