About Tugnology

The Tugnology conference came about in 2007 at the request of a considerable number of delegates who had attended the renowned ITS Conventions. Quite simply, they asked for a two day 'no-frills' conference dealing solely with tugs, to take place during the intervening years of the biennial ITS Convention. To date, events have been held in Southampton, Amsterdam, Antwerp and London, with ever-increasing numbers of delegates.

Feedback from these events tells us that the hands-on, nuts-and-bolts focus of papers, and the simple, to-the-point tabletop displays have proved extremely popular with delegates. The immensely useful information and interaction that Tugnology provides, together with the extensive networking opportunities at the event, have been shown to drive forward both business relationships and key elements of the development of the industry.

"Good sessions with interesting speakers. Good attendance of companies around the world."
